Requesting GitHub organization approval (as a non-Admin)

When you're onboarding to the Kiro platform as a non-GitHub Admin, you'll need to request organization access from your team Admin. You can do this directly on the OAuth screen here:

Or, you can do it in your GitHub profile settings, which is the purpose of this help doc entry. The steps to do this are explained in the GitHub docs, but you can also find those steps below 😀

  1. In the top right corner of your GitHub dashboard, click your profile picture and then click the "Your organizations" button:

2. In the left sidebar, click "Applications:"

3. In your list of applications, select the Kiro application:

4. In your list of organizations, select the one which you'd like Kiro to access and click "Request:"

5. Once you've reviewed the information, click "Request approval from owners:"

6. That's it! Your team GitHub Admin will receive an email like this:

We're here for you, so if you run into any issues, drop us an email at support@kiro.io and we'll be more than happy to sort it out for you.
