What is Kiro?
Kiro is a platform that helps software engineers continuously improve the health of their development environments - both quantitatively and qualitatively. It easily integrates with your existing development tools and provides a coach-like experience for you as an engineer.
What does Kiro do?
Our first product offering is the Kiro PR Coach, which has the following features:
Integrate with GitHub and the PR Coach prioritizes and recommends a single PR to focus on right now, so you can start taking action.
It'll tell you the reasons why a certain PR is recommended, so that you can keep track of what needs to be addressed - whether a review comment from a teammate, or a time-sensitive piece of that code that needs to be fixed.
Keep tabs on your personal engineer health with three Kiro Health Checks: Number of Open Pull Requests, Average Pull Request Lifetime and Average Time in Review.
What do I use Kiro for?
Our aim with the Kiro PR Coach is to help you:
Reduce your GitHub work-in-progress (WIP) and keep it to a manageable level.
Improve your code review process with you and your teammates.
Help you complete your PRs and ship faster to your customers.
Cut down on stale PRs, or PRs waiting in limbo.
Unblock and make progress together with your team.
Who is Kiro for?
Kiro is for individual engineers who are using GitHub (we have more integrations coming soon), and:
Have an existing queue of PRs to complete.
Want to get through your PR queue and better manage your overall PR work-in-progress.
Want to cut down on the amount of stale PRs and have a cleaner PR workflow.
Looking to improve your team collaboration and communication with completing PRs.
